<p>One of the objectives of CEA was to include the presence of soil in the control strategy that is to say soil-structure interaction phenomena thanks to hybrid testing.</p>

<p>With over 364 parking spaces, this car park located in Turin, occupies a 9600 square meters surface area on 4 stories.</p>
<p>CES used its experience and expertise to jointly carry out computational fluid mechanics studies with ADVENG, in order to ensure maximum safety in these premises.</p>

<p>The 2013 SMART project allowed to launch a big seismic testing campaign, carried out by CEA and financed by EDF, with the analysis of a nuclear asymmetric structure.</p>
<p>To advance research, the collected experimental data were subjected to an international Benchmark open to the whole scientific community.</p>
<p>Within the framework of this project, CES used its experience and expertise to provide the analysis of linear and non-linear transient dynamics.</p>

<p>In this area located in the south of the « toe » of the Italian mainland and subjected to a dozen of earthquakes in the course of the 20th century, more and more numerous inhabitants have chosen to engage exceptional means in the construction projects of residential premises. To comply with safety standards and current regulations, an important work on the design of structures is necessary.</p>
<p>The study of the out of plane behavior of the building was carried out in order to limit torsional effects. As a result, the design of reinforced concrete shear walls has been defined</p>
